Truck Crushes 2 To Death At Checkpoint In Kwara

Tragedy struck in Moro local government area of Kwara State at the weekend when a truck crushed two persons to death at a security checkpoint.

Sources told LEADERSHIP that one of the victims of the lone accident was a sugarcane vendor while the other was a security agent.

The sources added that the incident occurred at a checkpoint in Moro local government area when the truck veered off the road and hit the victims.

The Kwara State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Frederick Ogidan, confirmed the incident.

“It was a lone accident involving a DAF truck which lost control and hit the victims.They were all males, but two of them died while the other two didn’t sustain any injury,” Ogidan stated.
