UN Int’l Summit: IAWPA Appoints Amb. Alanyingi As Head Of Delegation

The World Peace President of the International Association Of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), Amb. Per Stafsen, has announced the appointment of Amb. Alanyingi Sylva as the head of IAWPA International delegation that will be attending this year’s United Nations International Summit of the Future.

The decision to appoint her took place at Nairobi, Kenya, after the just-concluded United Nations Civil Society Conference that served as part of the preparatory meeting to the Summit. Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke represented the association at the event with the Rwandan Country Director of IAWPA, Amb. Dr. Francis Habumugista.

A statement released to journalists by the International Spokesman of IAWPA, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke, said the appointment of Amb. Alanyingi Sylva was a result of her successful participation at the UN Women’s Day, which took place on the March 8, 2024 at the UN headquarters in New York, the United States of America.

The United Nations International Summit of the Future is billed to hold at the UN headquarters from September 20 – 21, 2024.

Recall that Amb. Dr Mrs. Alanyingi Sylva, who is also the founder of Centre for Gender Values and Culture, was also honoured with the Global Ambassador For Gender Priority Strategy in New York, the United States. Her interest in gender issues stands her out among the comity of eminent personalities that have been propagating gender balance and inclusion.

Amb. Dr. Mrs Alanyingi Sylva is by her present appointment expected to lead Eminent Peace Ambassadors all over the world that will be participating in the UN Summit including in other side events such as climate diplomacy, sustainable education and host of others that will take place during the course of the UN Summit.
