Unknown Persons Stab Salesgirl In Yobe

A 24-year-old salesgirl identified as Sheba Simon has been stabbed by unidentified individuals in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital.

Multiple sources revealed that the victim was stabbed while on her way home from her shop located at the Jerusalem area of Damaturu metropolis.

Credible sources confirmed that the incident happened on Sunday, April 28, 2024, around 9:30 pm near Damaturu Academy in Malari Bye Pass in Damaturu.

One of the sources also who craved anonymity, said a resident of the area alerted the security operative when she saw the victim in the pool of her blood.

Credible information from Operation Haba Maza also stated that Sheba was ambushed and stabbed in the back with a knife by her attackers who later snatched her phone during the incident.

The military source added that Sheba was taken to the Specialist Hospital in Damaturu for medical treatment where she is currently responding well.
