The Southern Kaduna Professionals Forum (SKPF) has condemned the hidden agenda of some embittered politicians bent on destroying every value the Commissioner of Finance Kaduna State, Hon. Shizzer Bada, represents.

The acting national president of the forum, Arc. Samuel Yakubu, who was reacting to the alleged arrest of the Finance Commissioner in a press statement he signed and issued to journalists on Wednesday, stated that the action was a clear hatchet job by some perceived political enemies to persecute the finance commissioner for political reasons.

According to him, this was not the first time these sour politicians had attempted to bring Mrs Bada to dishonour, stressing that their aim to smear, discredit, and shame her so that they can pull off their evil intent must be rejected.

“The media reports that the finance commissioner was arrested in Lagos for alleged fraud were inaccurate and exaggerated.

Her intimidation and harassment are being sponsored by political enemies who had seen the anti-graft agency routine as capital to perfect their evil intent.

He further advised journalists to do due diligence before making publications aimed at destroying people’s integrity.

” Shizzer’s rising political profile is a threat to some politicians who envy her achievements.

” Our concern is premised on the fact that some elements within the state are hell-bent on dealing with Hon. Shizzer Bada, whom they see as a potent threat to their political interests.

“As a professional forum, we’re not opposing the anti-graft from carrying out its job, but it would be regrettable if it were observed that politicians are evil- shaping the narrative to suit their wicked interest,” the group added.

The group urges the Anti-Graft Agency not to lend itself to the antics of mischief makers who might unwittingly seek to tarnish its image.

According to them, these elements must be called to order as they have allowed their insatiable appetite for revenge to turn them into agents of destruction.

The group described those hell-bent on denting her image as ‘enemies of Kaduna State’ and added that they were also out to frustrate Governor Uba Sani’s government from succeeding in making socioeconomic life better for the citizenry.

” Shizzer, as the chief economist of Kaduna State, her contribution to consolidating Governor Uba Sani’s SUSTAIN AGENDA cannot be overemphasised as her track record is in the public domain.

“Governor Uba Sani must not allow these elements to succeed in blackmailing those standing firm to ensure he succeeds in his administration.”
