US Has Enough Weapons For ‘Forever’ War – Trump

United States President, Donald Trump, has declared that America possesses sufficient stockpiles of “medium and upper medium grade” munitions to sustain a prolonged conflict, stating that wars “can be fought ‘forever’… using just these supplies.”

Trump made the remarks in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, shortly before midnight in Washington DC (05:00 GMT).

“We have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons. The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!!” Trump wrote.

The US president also used the post to criticise his predecessor, Joe Biden, accusing him of supplying Ukraine with large quantities of advanced American weaponry during his time in office.

In his remarks, Trump claimed that Biden provided Ukraine with “so much of the super high end” US weapons amid the ongoing war with Russia.

During the final months of his four-year term, Biden authorised Ukraine to deploy the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), a powerful long-range missile system capable of striking targets up to 190 miles (300 kilometres) away.

The ATACMS approval marked a significant escalation in US military support for Kyiv, as Ukraine continued to push back against Russian forces.

Trump’s latest comments come amid renewed debate in Washington over US military readiness, defence spending, and continued support for Ukraine in its war effort.
