Bashir Saleh has been appointed as the interim technical adviser for Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Wikki Tourists. His appointment follows the resignation of experienced manager Abdullahi Maikaba, which took place on Monday.
Saleh will step into this role on a temporary basis while the club seeks further direction. He is expected to begin his duties immediately. Previously, Saleh served as the Chief Coach of Wikki Tourists under Coach Garba Ibrahim and has also worked with Coach Aliyu Zubairu at Gombe United.
He is set to lead the team in their upcoming matchday 26 fixture against Rangers in Enugu this weekend, as he aims to make a positive impact in his new role.
