WIMBIZ Advocates Women Empowerment To Break Boundaries

The Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has intensified its advocacy for women’s empowerment, urging more inclusive policies and practices to enable women to break barriers and achieve tremendous success in various sectors.

According to a statement issued by the Executive Director of WIMBIZ, Omowunmi Akingbohungbe, this was emphasised at the WIMBIZ London Conference 2024, held in London, United Kingdom. The conference, themed “Next Level: Succeeding Beyond Borders,” focused on building connections in a crowded world and empowering women to navigate and thrive in diverse business landscapes.

The event saw participation from delegates representing eight countries, highlighting its international impact and reach.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees, WIMBIZ, Bisi Adeyemi, delivered a powerful welcome address, emphasising the conference’s theme as a call to action. She urged participants to learn and grow together, appreciating the planning committee’s dedication.

The keynote speech by the CEO of Shoreline Energy International, Kola Karim, captivated the audience with its focus on passion, resilience, and seizing opportunities.
