Zamfara Govt Lauds Security Agencies Over Killing Of 100 Bandits

Zamfara State government has expressed appreciation to security agencies operating in the state for their remarkable success in the ongoing fight against insecurity, particularly the recent operation that led to the neutralisation of about 100 bandits.

The state commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmud Mohammed Dantawasa, who made this known in a statement said the achievement was a clear demonstration of the renewed commitment and professionalism of the security forces, who continue to put their lives on the line to protect communities across the state.

According to him, the government recognized their sacrifices and unwavering dedication to restoring peace and stability in Zamfara State.

Mahmud Dantawasa noted that the success represents a significant step forward in the sustained efforts to dismantle criminal networks and eliminate the threat of banditry that has affected many parts of the state.

He stressed that the state government strongly encourages all security personnel to remain resolute, vigilant and steadfast in their operations.

The Zamfara State Government also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Federal Government and all relevant security stakeholders and pledged to continue providing all necessary assistance, resources, and an enabling environment to ensure the success of ongoing and future security operations.

The commissioner called on the people of Zamfara State to continue supporting security agencies through cooperation, timely information sharing, and community vigilance.
