Borno State governor, Babagana Zulum has reappointed Malam Isa Gusau as his special adviser on media and strategy.
The governor equally appointed eleven others to serve as senior special assistants, general managers and executive secretary.
LEADERSHIP reports that Gusau served vice president Kashim Shattima while he was the governor of Borno State before taking the same appointment with Zulum in his first tenure.
The governor equally renewed the appointment of Hon. Baba Shiekh Haruna as senior special assistant on Media; Hon. Abdul Rahman Ahmed Bundi as senior special assistant on New Media.
He also appointed Ambassador Adamu Abbas as chief policy analyst and researcher; Hon. Engr. Baba Bukar Gujbawu, special adviser on Monitoring and Evaluation and Dr. Mairo Mandara as chief adviser and coordinator, Sustainable Development, Partnerships and Humanitarian Support.
Others appointed are Hon. Ahmed Sanda – special adviser on Protocol; Engr. Ibrahim Idris as special adviser, Special Projects; Hon. Ibrahim Dangana (Relay)- special assistant on Protocol; Hon. Umar Mohammed (June 12) as general manager, Borno Radio Television (BRTV); Dr. Babakura Mamman Gadai as executive secretary, Borno State Agency for Sustainable Development, Partnerships and Humanitarian Response, and Tpl Liman Gana Mustapha as acting general manager Borno State Urban Planning and Development Board.
A statement issued to journalists on Tuesday in Maiduguri by Barr. Mustapha Ali Bogusuma, principal secretary government house stated that Governor Zulum made these appointments based on personal merits and records of previous years in public service.
