2024 Sheroes Cup: Rain Of Goals As Naija Ratels, Abia Angels Record Big Wins

It was an avalanche of goals on matchday2 of the ongoing 7th Sheroes Cup yesterday as Naija Ratels returned to winning ways with an emphatic 5-0 victory over non-league side, Nazareth Ladies.

A brace from Agama Zipreke, and goals from Oluwatosin Ogundeko, Blessing Emmanuel and Adanna Nwachukwu each condemned Nazareth to their first defeat of the competition.

Abia Angels also recorded a big win, thrashing Honey Badgers 4-0 with Chiamaka Ojialor scoring hat-trick. Mercy Lucky scored the fourth goal for for Abia Angels.

Heartland Queens were held by Dannaz Ladies to a 1-1 draw.

Skipper Opara Chiemere gave Heartland the lead in the 38th minute only to be pegged back a minute later by Dannaz Ladies courtesy of a header from Ayi Janet after mixup at the back.

In the last game of Day 2, a goal from Bolaji Olamide early in the second half secured a hard fought victory for Remo Stars over Nasarawa Amazons.

The games will continue today, with high flying Abia Angels battling Ekiti Queens, Nazareth will lock horns with Heartland, Bayelsa Queens will hope to continue their winning streak when they face hard fighting Dannaz ladies, while struggling Honey Badgers will seek to redeem their image against wounded Nasarawa Amazons.
