4 Youths Die In Kebbi Road Crash

Four youths have been confirmed dead in a road accident on their way from Birnin Kebbi to Jega on the Jega- Birnin Kebbi Highway in Kebbi State.

An eyewitness, Faruk Nassarawa, also a Kebbi State House of Assembly member representing Jega constituency, confirmed the incident to LEADERSHIP.

He said the incident occurred Tuesday evening while they were returning to Jega from visiting a sick person at the Federal Medical Centre, Birnin Kebbi.

According to Nasarawa, one of the deceased is a brother, while the three others are all indigenes of the Jega local government.

Governor Nasir Idris and other prominent personalities have extended their condolences to the member, district head of Jega and Jega local government council over the loss of the four youths of the area.

They described the incident as unfortunate and a great loss to the people of Jega and Kebbi State.

The deceased had since been buried according to Islamic obligations in Jega.
