The immediate past Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Dr Ramatu Tiijjani Aliyu, has congratulated Sen. Godswill Akpabio and Sen, Jibrin Barau on their emergence as Senate President and Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria respectively.
This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday, made available to LEADERSHIP.
Aliyu who commended the process, expressed hopes that with the emergence of the leaders, Nigeria would thrive, under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
She said, “Your emergency which has been founded on merit and Nationalism bodes well for the 10th National Assembly and a pointer to a new and cohesive Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu
“It is my utmost conviction that your vast experience as a former Executive Governor and Minister will have a positive bearing on the oversight functions of the National Assembly to deliver in line with the RENEWED HOPE mandate of the APC!”
