Amid the economic hardship comes various ways of going around it. Some good and others outright bad. So this brings me to my latest gist of how some cab hailing app drivers have smartened up, albeit negatively and unprofessionally to get more money in this hard times.

Infact (I don’t have any shares in these cab hailing services) Farida took her time to explain to me so I can write about it. She told me her experience of using a cab app hailing service to Gwagwalada.

She looked at her phone to make sure the plate number matched what she had down and also that the face of the driver matched. Getting in the cab, the driver was friendly and kept chatting about how difficult the country was all the while he had quietly canceled the trip.
