This significant investment, spearheaded by the SUBEB, aims to improve the learning environment across the state.

According to the executive secretary of the board, Kabir Gafiya, the funds were directed toward multiple infrastructural projects, including the construction of 67 blocks of classrooms, costing N971 million.

Gafiya who was speaking on the scorecard of the present administration in 14 months, said the investment was part of the government’s commitment to enhancing educational infrastructure across the state, adding that the projects will provide safe, functional, and conducive learning environments for students and ensure that teachers have the necessary tools to perform effectively and reduce congestion in schools.

He added that about N50 million has been allocated for the construction of three classroom blocks, which will include office spaces and storage rooms to provide teachers with proper workspaces, facilitating more effective administration and teaching.
