Comedienne and skit-artiste, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori aka Kiekie, said her upcoming show ‘Kiekie Unscripted Experience’ was inspired by the need to create platforms for creatives.

The social media influencer who spoke at an official press meet announcing the new project said the talent show which is ‘unscripted’ to accommodate varied talents across the country, will enable creatives showcase their skills before a live audience. It will also connect talents to industry leaders, and gain them national and international recognition.

“It is a space where people regardless of their background, age and gender, can showcase their talents and gain recognition and exposure,” said Kiekie.

Started initially as a ‘joke’ after the artiste’s wedding in 2020, the ‘Kiekie Unscripted Experience’ has had previous seasons on YouTube. The launch of the show is not solely a personal milestone, but a testament of her dedication to building a supportive community.

“It’s about collaboration and connection, and I want to create an environment where everyone feels valued and inspired,” she said.
