Throughout my career, I have witnessed the profound impact that peace can have in transforming societies, enhancing human dignity, and driving progressive change. With the current global challenges we face—from conflicts and social injustices to environmental degradation—I believe it is vital to work together to create a more peaceful and sustainable world,” he stressed while speaking with the Director of Media and Publicity of IAWPA, Amb. Nwokoma Messiah

Amb. Obaje said he was a passionate advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), “I am particularly committed to promoting Goal 13: Climate Action. The pressing issue of climate change poses a significant threat to peace and security worldwide. I wholeheartedly believe that addressing this crisis requires collaborative efforts that prioritize both environmental stewardship and social equity.”

He said he will be engaging communities, raising awareness, and fostering innovative solutions, aimed at mobilising support for initiatives that combat climate change and promote resilience.
