Speaking during the meeting at the NPC headquarters in Abuja, Senior Research Specialist at PIC, Emmanuel Nwala, emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, “This is not just about data; it’s about shaping the future of young Nigerians.”

NPC chairman, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, welcomed the collaboration, noting that the commission’s expertise in demographic data and geospatial mapping would ensure the survey delivers impactful results.

“This survey will provide crucial insights that can inform policies to improve adolescent health and development,” he said.

NPC’s director-general, Dr. Osifo Tellson Ojogun, along with senior directors and technical staff, reinforced the commission’s commitment to addressing societal attitudes that affect adolescent well-being.
