In Abuja, the group’s coordinator, Mr. Muyiwa Salami, said it was important for Ojulari to provide clarity on the issues in order to maintain public trust in the NNPCL and the oil sector.

According to the statement, some of the reports have generated public interest and concern, with opinions divided on whether they are politically motivated or substantive. The NTI noted that offering a clear response would help ensure transparency and safeguard the reputation of the company.

“It is in the interest of Mr. Ojulari and the Nigerian people that he addresses the concerns raised. Open communication will help reinforce confidence in the office he occupies,” Salami stated.

The group also encouraged relevant agencies, including the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to continue their oversight role to ensure that due process is followed in handling the matter.
