The 7th edition of the WOW Children’s Day Fiesta is set to hold, with organisers highlighting its focus on inclusion, creativity, and interactive engagement as families prepared for this year’s Children’s Day celebrations on May 27.

The event, built around the theme “Gospel of Inclusion,” was designed on the principle that every child should feel seen, included, and actively engaged, regardless of background, personality, or ability.

At a time when many Children’s Day celebrations are often viewed as routine or conventional, the WOW Children’s Day Fiesta is positioned as an alternative experience that combines play, learning, and family interaction in a structured environment.

Over the years, the fiesta has evolved beyond a one-day celebration into an experiential platform where children participate in activity zones, games, performances, and creative sessions, rather than remaining passive attendees.

Speaking on the vision behind the 2026 edition, the founder of WOW Surprises, Owolabi Emmanuel Tosin, said the event was designed to deliver both entertainment and impact.

“The 7th WOW Children’s Day Fiesta is a testament to resilience, inclusion, and heart. By expanding our reach, we are ensuring that the message of ‘No Child Left Behind’ resonates louder than ever before,” he said.

Also speaking, the Head of Strategy and Consultant for the event, Joseph Eshio Oghanyan, emphasised the importance of creating lasting experiences for children and families.

“Children may forget what they received, but they rarely forget how an experience made them feel. The goal is to create moments that stay with children long after the day is over while giving families something meaningful to share together,” he said.

The 2026 edition will feature a wide range of attractions, including interactive play zones, creative and learning-based activities, live stage performances, collaborative games, brand-led activations, food and refreshment experiences, and dedicated spaces for photography and memory creation.

Organisers said the event was structured to promote confidence, creativity, inclusion, and togetherness, while offering families an opportunity to step away from routine and build shared experiences.

As anticipation builds, parents, schools, and partners were increasingly viewing the fiesta as part of a broader shift toward more experience-driven 2026 Children’s Day celebrations.
