Alia Congratulates Tinubu On Emergence As APC Presidential Flag Bearer

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on emerging as the presidential flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Tersoo Kula, on Sunday in Makurdi, Alia described Tinubu’s victory as well deserved and a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by party members and stakeholders.

The governor also congratulated all candidates who won their primaries across the country, saying their emergence showed the trust and support they enjoy within the APC family.

He commended the APC National Working Committee led by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda for what he described as purposeful leadership and for ensuring peaceful, transparent and successful primaries nationwide.

According to him, the smooth conduct of the exercise shows the growing strength, internal democracy and unity of the ruling party.

Alia expressed confidence that the APC would continue to grow stronger and remain committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance and sustainable development for Nigerians.
He also wished all the party’s candidates success as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections.
