Former Director-General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi, is set to appear before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday to face trial over alleged forgery and related offences.
Adeyemi will be arraigned alongside two others on an eight-count charge filed by the Nigeria Police, bordering on alleged forgery, impersonation and other related offences.
The charge, marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025, was filed on November 27, 2025, by police prosecutor Wisdom Madaki.
According to court documents, the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, is among the prosecution witnesses expected to testify during the trial.
Other witnesses listed by the prosecution include Paul Emmanuel, Jeremiah Imoukhede, Ituah Sylvester, civil servants in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF), Akimbo Shola and Adamu Balongu, as well as a Deputy Superintendent of Police.
