The exercise was held in Gusau, the state capital, with the party’s supporters in attendance.

According to the party, the primary mission for the state leadership composition was to make the structure fully functional.

Among those in attendance was Atiku Abubakar Saleh (Baraden Maru), described as a hardworking deputy national organising secretary. Others included Mallam Jafaru Sani, the Northwest vice chairman; Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar, the Northwest secretary of the ADC Adhoc Committee and Hon. Karima Sama’ila, who raised a voice on persons with disabilities; Hon. Kabiru Garba Gusau, the state chairman and others.

We reaffirmed a new chapter for Zamfara ADC. Our message is clear. The ADC is giving real opportunities for youths and women to lead, not just to watch from the sidelines,’’ Balarabe Rufa’i, the national youth leader, said.

The party reemphasised the need for members to collect their PVCs and be ready to defend democracy through active participation.
