Governor of Osun State Ademola Adeleke will today y flag off the 5.68km Erin Osun-Egbedi-Osogbo/Iwo Road project.
The project is one of the intercity roads pronounced by the governor during the launch of multi-billion infrastructural projects of his administration .
A release by the state commissioner for information and public enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, said when completed it would enhance trade and commerce.
His words, “It will boost the confidence of the motoring and non-motoring public, especially in the smooth conveyance of farm produces from the rural to urban areas.”
He said because of its importance and strategic location, the inter city road project would help to reduce incessant accidents being usually experienced in the axis.
The flag-off, according to the commissioner, would be held at Erin-Osun ends of the road around Erin-Osun Town Hall, Oke Awesin Area, Erin-Osun.
