The team under Coach John Keister has been in camp in the last few days getting ready for the crucial match that will likely make or mar the team.

After the morning training, 25 players and the technical crew departed Freetown the capital of Sierra Leone for Liberia.

To date, the availability of the team skipper Steven Caulker is still unknown but the coach remained optimistic about the game.

The victory of Guinea-Bissau over Sao Tome and Principe on Wednesday further jeopardises the qualification chances of the Leone Stars as they must beat Nigeria to have a chance of reaching Ivory Coast 2023.
