Former students of Maryam Abacha American University have narrated ‘Afrister’, a revolutionary social networking application designed to foster seamless connections among individuals, families, friends, and businesses, is improving social media experience for users.

Founded in 2021 by Aliyu Ishaq and his partner Alhassan Abubakar during their studies at MAAUN, Afrister has rapidly gained recognition for its user-friendly interface and innovative features.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja Aliyu Ishaq attributed the success of Afrister to the invaluable foundation provided by Maryam Abacha University.

He expressed gratitude to the institution, highlighting the influential orientation imparted to him and his fellow students.

He also lauded the founder of MAAUN, Prof. Adamu Gwarzo, for his unwavering support and guidance.

With aspirations to garner international acclaim, Ishaq and his partner are fervently working to enhance Afrister, ensuring it matches the standards set by its Western counterparts.
