Andrew Gets Global Diplomats Award

Founder and chief executive officer of Dee Utensils, Lois Andrew Ihwo, has received the prestigious honour of Global Diplomats Award from the International Society of Diplomats (ISD).

It is also in recognition of her company’s commitment to excellence in selling luxury kitchenware and quality products that meet world-class standards, as well as her personal contributions to enhancing soft diplomacy among companies through trade and commerce.

ISD seeks to work with governments of various Nations, International, Regional and specialized Agencies to promote global peace, through international relations and diplomatic cooperation.

The organisation, founded to promote international diplomacy through friendship, trade and investment, international cooperation, peace, and social Justice for the development and advancement of humanity, also encourages government and non-state actors to work in harmony with a common goal: improving and sustaining the universal fundamental rights of every human being.

The award qualifies her to affix “Ambassador” to her name, use a customised diplomatic plate number, and use other ISD insignias in her name.

In her acceptance letter, Andrew thanked ISD for finding her worthy of the honour, which she said would spur her to do more and always provide good-quality utensils for the benefit of all.

She added that as “an ambassador, I will never let the organisation and Nigerians down in discharging my services more effectively.”
