The All Nigerian Football Players Union (ANFPU), has called for better structure and sponsors for all tiers of football leagues in the country.

Abdul Sule, president of the Union, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the league remains the soul of football development in any country.

The ex -international who lamented the state of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), said in spite of the abundance of talents, stressed the need to change the narrative.

“There is a need to urgently get sponsors for the league (NPFL), and how do you get sponsors? The League must have a proper structure.
