APC, Abbas, Kalu Greet Shettima At 59

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, on his 59th birthday on Tuesday, saying it is a life worth celebrating.

Speaker Abbas described VP Shettima as a man of high intellect and a loyal, trusted and dependable ally of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a congratulatory message by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, the speaker noted that Senator Shettima is an experienced and excellent politician and public administrator.

Abbas recalled how the vice president excelled in the private sector as a banker and governor of Borno State. He said VP Shettima’s legislative experience as a member of the 9th Senate before becoming the vice president has added immense value to the Tinubu administration.

Similarly, Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu extended his heartfelt congratulations to Vice President Shettima on his 59th birthday.

In congratulatory remarks, Kalu commended Vice President Shettima’s passion and dedication to Nigeria’s growth and development, citing his remarkable tenure as Governor of Borno State and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He noted that Shettima’s strides in governance, leadership, and legislative contributions have continued to inspire many, adding that his legacies speak profoundly of his deep commitment to public service.

The Deputy Speaker wished Vice President Shettima continued good health, strength, and divine wisdom to effectively support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in steering the nation’s affairs towards peace, unity, and prosperity.

Also, the All Progressives Congress (APC) heartily congratulated the Vice President Shettima on the joyous occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary.

 

 

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, APC, Felix Morka described the vice president as an exceptional leader, astute administrator, public servant, and quintessential progressive and loyal partyman.

“Your Excellency’s life at 59 has already made indelible footprints on our national promenade, and continues to inspire many. From your days as a banker to serving as a Commissioner and Executive Governor of Borno State, before representing your people as a distinguished Senator, you have carved your profile as a public servant with an unyielding devotion to the pursuit of excellence. As a patriot, you have worked tirelessly for peace and the unity of our country.

“As Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, your unwavering support and loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, have been crucial to the steady strides and success of the administration’s transformative Renewed Hope Agenda.

“On behalf of the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the National Working Committee (NWC), leaders and teeming members of our great Party, we pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants you many more years of sound health, wisdom, and strength to continue your illustrious and awe-inspiring service to country and humanity,” APC said.
