APC Professionals Council has said about 37,000 youths would benefit from the seventh edition of its tuition free scholarship scheme.

The council in a statement issued yesterday in Lagos by its national director-general, Hon. Seyi Bamigbade, said 1,000 youths will benefit from each state of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to him, the programme tagged: “Renewed Hope Scholarship Scheme” which is in collaboration with National Image Scholarship, a consortium for Educational Support Scheme is aimed at engaging young people interested in advancing their educational pursuit but challenged by finances.

He said it was in line with the President Bola Ahmed Tiunbu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda of providing equal opportunity to all to compete favourably since during the campaign.

Bamigbade said education plays a pivotal role in raising the frontiers of national development and keeping the young population engaged not to engage in social vices that will be inimical to their future.
