Chairman of APC caretaker committee in the state, Chief Tony Okocha, disclosed this yesterday in Port Harcourt while receiving various support groups that came to pledge their support to the current leadership of the party in the state.

The support groups are the Conference of APC Ex-Councillors of Rivers State, the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGram), the G37 Political Support Group and the Consolidated APC Support Group.

Okocha stated that the APC in Rivers State is now one, united and stronger as a political party, stressing that the party  is for the people and open for everyone.

He further stated that under his leadership, the principle of “the many, the merrier” would remain key and a major driving force behind the many successes recorded by the party within his short time at the helms of affairs of the party.
