The All Progressives Congress (APC) has slated Tuesday, March 24, for the screening of aspirants vying for national offices, as preparations intensify for its upcoming National Convention.

The party said the exercise will be held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.

In a notice issued on Sunday, the Secretary of the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, Isa Yuguda, stated that only aspirants who have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms will be eligible for the screening.

He added that all aspirants must appear in person and present relevant supporting documents for verification, urging them to arrive early to ensure a smooth process.

The screening marks a key stage in the party’s build-up to its National Convention, following a series of activities outlined in its timetable released in December 2025.

The schedule, which commenced with membership e-registration from December 1, 2025, to January 30, 2026, has progressed through multiple phases, including the sale and submission of forms, screening of aspirants at ward, local government, state and zonal levels, as well as the conduct of congresses and resolution of appeals.

These processes are set to culminate in the APC National Convention scheduled to hold from March 25 to March 28, 2026.
