Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has surprised his mother with a new G-Wagon.
In a video posted online, the musician was seen taking his mother around to see the gift. She was astonished by the new ride, hugging her son, after which she entered the G-Wagon to check it out.
The G-Wagon is said to be worth $230,000.
Asake and his mother had paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife. A clip of their visit showed Ooni expressing his happiness in welcoming the award-winning musician back home, noting that the artist spent his formative years in Ife. Oba Ogunwusi praised the singer’s mother for being a steadfast pillar and expressed his delight at welcoming her home.
Asake is a prominent Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter known for his energetic fusion of Afro-fusion, Amapiano, and Fuji sounds.
