Every month, AML rounds up a list of African artistes’ albums reviewed on its platform in a newsletter forwarded to its subscribers.

Other artistes whose albums made the list are South African DJ Junior and Kabza de Small’s five track EP ‘Indlela’; South African female artiste Lihle Bliss six track EP ‘Mfazi’; Ghanaian artiste, Rolly Panda’s four track EP ‘Sweet Flowers’; Congolese singer-songwriter, Sando Cynthia’s six-track album ‘Vuvuzela’ – a journey through Afro House and Amapiano, and Gambia’s Miss Jobizz’s ‘Queen of Kings’.

Launched in September 2022, AML is dedicated to the recognition, documentation and preservation of African music both in songs and printed information and across diverse genres, as a means of chronicling the history and journey of music in Africa, in addition to, creating a space that will not only spark discussions and learning but the knowledge exchange required to build intelligent technologies around African music.
