ATBU Promotes 26 Academics To Professorial Cadre

The governing council of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi (ATBU) has promoted 26 academics to the ranks of Associate Professor and full Professor respectively.

LEADERSHIP Weekend gathered that 14 academics of the university were promoted to full Professor while 12 others settled for Associate Professor.

Head of Information and Public Relations Unit, ATBU, Kabiru Garba Aminu disclosed this to reporters in Bauchi in a statement on Friday.

“The governing council of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi has confirmed the promotions of 26 academic staff to the ranks of Reader and Professor.

“According to letter of promotions issued to the staff dated 11th January 2023 and signed by the Acting Registrar and secretary to the council of the university, Hajiya Aisha Idris, the promotions were approved following receipt of positive external assessment on each of the staff,” the statement read in part.
