Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has reiterated his promise to fight insecurity, even as he claimed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), brought insecurity upon the country.

Atiku, who addressed a crowd of supporters who welcomed him to Niger state at the weekend as part of his ongoing campaign rally, said he will end insecurity in the state if supported to win the presidency.

He stated that PDP built major infrastructures in the state, while APC brought insecurity to the state and therefore said he will reciprocate the show of support by the people of the state by ending insecurity if elected.

Also, the chairman of the presidential campaign council of PDP and governor of Akwai Ibom State, Emmanuel Udom said a vote for Atiku will bring an end to insecurity and improve the economy.
