Chairman of Karu local government Nasarawa State, Barrister Abubakar Aliyu Madaki said he was overwhelmed by his invitation to attend Iftar (breaking of fasting) organised by the Ihsan Foundation, a non-governmental organisation that caters to the upliftment of youth and women. The event took place at the premises of Perfect Bread Ruga ‘Yarkasuwa last weekend.

He was happy with his presence there because he met people who came for the same purpose. He also praised the Ihsan Foundation for its good work and called for others to emulate it.

Other dignitaries who graced the occasion include Sarkin Hauswan Maraba, Alhaji Usman Mani, Alhaji Nasiru Soja, speaker of the Karu Local Government Legislative Council, Alhaji Hashimu Gurku, former chairman of the Karu local government and also former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Abdulmalik Abubakar, and Professor Mika’ilu Gurku, among others.

The chairman of Prefect Bread, Alhaji Abdul Yusuf Perfect Bread, Abdul Yusuf Inchan, showed his appreciation for being there.

He said that it allowed him to meet people he could not have had the chance to meet.
The convener of the Ihsan Foundation, Ibrahim Ya Malam, was grateful to God almighty, who made all things possible. He thanked everybody who graced the occasion, including those who wanted to come but could not.
