He said that the country will survive the present hardship and become economically stronger.

The lawmaker, who is the chairman of the House of Committee on Delegated Legislation felicitated Muslims on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He said Nigeria has a better prognosis of emerging more prosperous in the future, with the current economic policies being shrewdly contrived by President Bola Tinubu.

Bamisile, who represents Ekiti South Federal Constituency II, appreciated the Muslims in his constituency for embracing religious harmony, thereby affording Governor Biodun Oyebanji the opportunity to rev up the pedal of development across the economic spheres.

The lawmaker who stated these in his congratulatory message to Muslims, urged them to always live by the ethos of sacrifice, faithfulness, diligence and love exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, saying these are good characteristic features required to build a peaceful, united and prosperous nation.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain commended President Tinubu for promoting religious harmony through equitable appointments and good fraternities across ethnic lines, which he said Governor Oyebanji was promoting at the state level.

“It is my great honour and privilege to salute the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir. Your sacrifices at all levels of government have helped to stabilise this nation.

I commend you.

“The festival of sacrifice is a celebration of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) absolute faith in the Almighty Allah, a tradition that the noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW) continued with, which is being observed annually  by Muslims worldwide as an act of worship.

“We all know what we are in a difficult and daunting time. As we confront our challenges and difficulties, we are invited to emulate sacrifice and faith in our daily lives.

“In these difficult times, let us be buoyed by faith and retain the hope that together we can make things better. Let us embrace the lesson of sacrifice and uphold peace and goodwill towards all.

“We should be hopeful that things shall get better under President Tinubu’s hegemony. The economic policies might be hurting, but we have the inkling that the future shall be greater, ” Bamisile stated.
