Barr Henry Uzochukwu is an Abuja-based Anambra born lawyer, serial entrepreneur, social change philanthropist, politician and a seasoned investor.
Born in Jos, Plateau State, Uzochukwu is one of the Executive Directors (ED) at Stanel Group of companies, a reputable conglomerate that prides its self as a front runner in the oil and gas business, hospitality and more.
He is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jormea Oil Servicing company, an oil servicing company specialises in maintainance of crude oil vessels and also a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Compound Capital, a private equity and venture firm powering new age startups, commodity trade and trade finance.
Barr Henry Uzochukwu was a Special Assistant (SA) to the former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, on Community Liaison where he used his good office to impact the lives of the people.
He is known and loved for his interest and investment in the building and development of young peoples capacities in Nigeria through sponsorship and co-sponsorship of several youth engagement activities.
His robust national and international impacts have earned him several awards for various humanitarian endeavors among which is the Icon of Humanity from the Pi Foundation.
Uzochukwu has also received awards for excellence in Peace and Community Development/Business Personality of the Year from Peace Achievers International and an international Award of Recognition from the British Nigeria Law Forum in London.
Others awards received include Law Students Society Award, University of Jos chapter, National Association of Nigerian Students Award among others.
