The commissioner for information and communication, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, who made the announcement, said the project was aimed at showcasing the state’s rich history, culture and progressive spirit.

He said the new anthem should reflect the state’s values, unity and vision for the future, while the logo must be creatively designed to capture Bauchi’s essence, heritage and its identity as the “Pearl of Tourism.”
