The acting chairman of the state’s standing committee for the assessment and payment of compensation of the properties affected by road construction across the state, Engr. Mahmoud Abdulkadir, who handed over the cheques to recipients yesterday at the conference Hall of the Bauchi State Ministry of Works and Transport, assured that the committee would continue to ensure justice to all the affected property owners, justifying the confidence reposed in them by the state governor, Bala Muhammad.

Mohmood who is the director general Bauchi State Infrastructural Development and Maintenance Agency (BASIDMA) commended the members of the committee for giving their best to the success of the exercise, and urged them to maintain the tempo.

He appealed to those who have yet to collect their cheques to do so immediately at the Ministry of Works and Transport’s headquarters.
