A fire outbreak has occurred at the premises of the National Arts Theatre, Iganmu, in Lagos on Saturday night.
However, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has been able to combat the inferno.
It was gathered that a building in the complex was gutted by fire caused by an explosion from a gas cylinder, a development that led to the destruction of some property.
The fire outbreak is recorded to be the third incident in which the fire agency had been involved across the Lagos metropolis with two of such cases being gas explosions at a popular market in Ikotun where goods and properties were lost to the inferno while the fire incident at the National Arts Theatre with the third been a fatal incident that claimed the live of four persons at Noble Filling Station in Badagry on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
