Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the just-concluded election in Rivers State, Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, has said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has built a better tomorrow for the Ogoni ethnic nationality.
Buhari, who will visit Ogoniland today will perform the groundbreaking of a 100-bed Hospital in Tai local government area of the state.
He is also expected to flag-off the construction of the Centre for Excellence and Independent Power Project at Wiiyaakara in Khana local government area, among other projects of the Hydrocarbon Pollution Remediation Project (HYPREP) in Ogoniland.
Abe, in a statement issued in Port Harcourt yesterday by his spokesman, Saroh Benson, lauded the president for the groundbreaking ceremony of different projects in Ogoni land.
The SDP governorship candidate said people of Ogoni were happy with Buhari for keeping up with his promises.
He said, “President Buhari has demonstrated love, kindness and most of all, built a better tomorrow for the Ogoni today, even the unborn generation will remember him for his magnanimity and should be highly commended.”
