A former Face of Idoma beauty queen, Ashley Mariam Yusuf, has congratulated the governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia.

Queen Ashley who described the governor as a man Benue people have yearned for, expressed the belief that he would reform the non-functional system that has prevailed in the state and improve the livelihood of Benue people .

She promised to carry out some pet projects through her Mariam Ashley Yusuf Foundation in the state with the support of the government and good people of her home state.

“Our major focus is health education and promotion of maternal and child health, youth empowerment and campaign against human trafficking. We will ensure with the help of the governor that we curtail these challenges to the barest minimum,” she said.
