CLIMA Africa Awards Set To Celebrate Top Artistes

Africa and Nigerian top ranking Gospel artistes,  Mercy Chinwo, Nathaniel Bassey, Esther Orji, Ebenezer Obey, Frank Edwards, Dr. Winnie Mashaba, Dr. Victor (South Africa), Janet Otieno (Kenya), Piese Esther, Trona Philip (Ghana) and others who have made positive impact through out Africa this year, will be honoured at CLIMA Africa Awards 2023, in Lagos. The awards comes up on Monday, October 2nd, 2023.

According to the organizers of the annual prestigious award event, this year is going to be bigger and greater. As there there will delegation from other African countries. In addition, there be honours for standout leaders impact makers in all fields of human endeavours. The list of the awardees and nominees for the 2023 CLIMA Africa Awards was released by the organsers of the Awards, CLIMA positive impact magazines Limited, on Friday, July 7, 2023. 

Speaking in an interview with LEADERSHIP, the CEO and President of the Award Academy, Mr Michael Uwak, said ” the 2023 edition has 18 honouary categories, 19 nominations, 4 Merit Awards for Gospel Music impact makers”. He added that best dressed male and female at the event will be receive an honorary awards.”

It would be noted that voting for nomination categories commenced on 20th of August to September 20th, 2023, through the official website of the organization.

The awards event which is slated on Monday, October 2, 2023 at the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, GRA, Lagos. It will feature fantastic music and entertainment performances from Nigeria and African global acts such as Dr. Aity Dennis; Frank Edwards; Everton Mlalazi (Zimbabwe); Ambassador Chinyere Udoma; Dr Winnie Mashaba, Jimmy D’ Psalmist; Ambrose Klongogo (Ghana); and many others. ” It’s going to be a great presentation of the best of African music and entertainment, I assured you” Uwak said.

He noted that the awards as usual opens with a green carpet, instead of regular red carpet to thank God for our nation, as we mark our Independence. The green carpet will be hosted by talented social personality Oyeyiga Mary

Africa Christian Legendary and Impact Makers Awards (CLIMA AFRICA). CLIMA AFRICA, since its inception has been taken up the responsibility of appreciating and awarding Nigerian and African outstanding gospel, musicians , cleric, creative talents and impact makers in different walks of life. For the past six years, the self- sponsored award, has strived to ensure that the remain the only credible Christian award in the midst of several secular awards in Africa. The vision is massive with several challenges but we have to keep moving on by God’s grace, the organizers stated.
