Justice Lewis-Allagoa ordered that Omeje be kept behind bars after he pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge of unlawful dealing in 950 grams of heroin.

The prosecutor, Abu Ibrahim, had told the court that the alleged impostor, had sometime on April 13, 2022, procured one Idokoja Solomon Chukwurah to illegally export 950 grams of Heroin.

Ibrahim also told the court that the defendant was arrested with the banned substance.

The prosecutor also stated that the offence contravened sections section 21 (2)(d) and 11(b) and was punishable under section 11(b) of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Cap. N30, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004.

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge when they were read to him.
