Crystal Palace have made a significant change to their UEFA Europa Conference League squad, omitting Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche for the upcoming knockout rounds.
The 22-year-old, on loan from Spanish side Getafe, has been removed from the 24-man roster submitted to UEFA.
This decision paves the way for new arrivals Brennan Johnson, Jorgen Strand Larsen, and Evann Guessand, all of whom have been added to the squad.
Uche’s tenure at Selhurst Park has been marked by a struggle for consistent playing time under manager Oliver Glasner. Despite featuring in 13 league matches, with only one start, his impact has been limited. In the Europa Conference League, the Nigeria international made four appearances, scoring once. Notably, his superb strike against KuPS Kuopio in December earned him the club’s Goal of the Month award.
