The nephew of the Founder, Christ Embassy (LoveWorld Inc.) Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and youth leader, Pastor Daysman Oyakhilome, has urged churches and believers to place greater emphasis on prayer and what he called ‘angelic partnership’ rather than relying solely on human effort for breakthroughs.
Speaking during a recent sermon, the younger Oyakhilome challenged Christians to reject every excuse for spiritual unfruitfulness, stressing that God expects believers to remain fruitful regardless of their circumstances.
According to him, consistent prayer does more than strengthen believers spiritually; it also activates divine assistance, enabling angels to carry out assignments that might otherwise require significant human effort.
“If you’ve been engaging your cell members more, start engaging angels more,” he said, explaining that believers who labour faithfully in prayer are never alone but are supported by God’s angelic partnership.
Drawing from the biblical account of the Apostle Peter, Oyakhilome noted that angelic guidance played a crucial role in directing people to the early Church. While acknowledging the value of practical methods and human strategies, he maintained that prayer remains the foundation for accomplishing God’s purpose.
He further taught that believers who dedicate themselves to prayer often experience divine direction and supernatural assistance, allowing difficult tasks to unfold in ways that surpass human planning and strategy.
Oyakhilome concluded by encouraging Christians to embrace a lifestyle of prayer, fruitfulness, and complete dependence on God’s guidance, trusting that every step taken in fulfilling His purpose is divinely ordered.
