In spite of the seeming delay in kicking off the party’s campaign for the 2023 general election, support groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have moved on with an intensive campaign for the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The party had suspended the inauguration of its presidential campaign council following the outrage that trailed the composition of the 422-member list released by secretary of the council, Hon James Faleke.

The APC campaign team on Wednesday said it was still waiting for President Muhammadu Buhari to determine the date for the kick-off party’s presidential campaign.

Director of Public Affairs/chief spokesman of the campaign council and minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN), said the president is both the party national leader and chairman of the campaign council and as such, it would serve the party well to consider his diary in picking and choosing a date to commence the campaign.

But the APC support groups are not leaving anything to chance, as they have taken it upon themselves to emback on rigorous campaign for the party and Tinubu ahead of the 2023 polls.
