Virgil Van Dijk has said Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford feels like a loss for the Reds

Liverpool were dominant during the first half at Old Trafford, as a Luis Diaz goal put Jurgen Klopp’s on course to regain their position at the top of the Premier League table.

But despite creating several clear opportunities, Liverpool only went in at half-time 1-0 ahead.
And the Reds were punished early in the second half after a Jarell Quansah mistake was pounced on by Bruno Fernandes, who scored a long-range equaliser.

Exciting youngster Kobiie Mainoo then gave United a 2-1 lead before Aaron Wan Bissaka conceded a penalty, which Mohamed Salah equalised from.

But the result at Old Trafford is a blow to Klopp’s team, with Arsenal now leading the table on goal difference.
