Gospel artiste, Abimbola Sanni-Adeola, known as Abimbola Praiseway, has urged Nigerians to use this Easter season as an opportunity to reflect on how God loves us and has provided a solution to the myriad of problems we are facing.

The musician, who reflected on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, noted that the Easter season is a period for remembering Christ’s sacrifice and God’s love for humanity which was demonstrated through God sending His only begotten Son, according to John 3:16.

Abimbola Praiseway, who has just released a project – a single titled: ‘Opé Lóye O’ (Worthy of Praise), went on to note that Jesus’ willingness to die for all mankind signified His ultimate desire to give us life.

“We should appreciate Him and share with others about the goodness of God. This is also a time for repentance from sin and remembering how good God has been throughout history.

“So as a Nigerian, I am filled with hope and gratitude. Despite the current challenges we face, it is important to remain thankful to God because there will always be light at the end of the tunnel,” she stated.

Regarding her recently released single “Opé lóye ó,” Abimbola Praiseway explained that it was inspired by deep meditation and gratitude towards God for all He has done over the years. She celebrated her birthday last week, using the song as an expression of thankfulness for God’s faithfulness throughout her life journey thus far.
